کسی بھی جملے میں کسی ورڈ سے پہلے آنے والے ورڈپریپوزیشن کہتے ہیں

1 – Time Preposition
Time preposition show the relationship of time with a word in a sentence. On, in, at, by, since, for, from, before, after, beside, besides, ago,to, withing, during etc..
ایسے پرویپوزیشن جو وقت کے لئے استعمال ہوتےہیں۔
Example of On: It indicates Days, Dates or part of a particular day.
I will see you on Monday.
میں آپ کو پیر کو ملوں گا۔
I will see on 31st of May.
میں آپ کو 31 مئی کو ملوں گا۔
I will see you on Saturday night.
میں آپ کو ہفتےکی رات کو ملوں گا۔
I got this book in December.
یہ کتاب مجھے دسمبر میں ملی۔
I will meet him in spring season.
میں بہار کے موسم میں اس سے ملوں گا۔
I started my business 2019.
میں نے اپنا کاروبار 2019 میں شروع کیا۔
He is born in 21st century.
وہ اکیسویں صدی میں پیدا ہوا ہے۔
Example of In: indefinite periods of time.
In a minute, in an hour
In a day, in an week, in a year
in the morning, in the evening
in the past, in the future
Example of At: It indicates precise / specific period of time.

We can use in & at with name of cities, towns, villages
Use in with a place as an area.
Use at when point a specific part of area.

وہ کراچی رہتا ہے۔
Train stopped at Lahore railway station.
ٹرین لاہور ریلوے اسٹیشن پر رکی۔
He lives at house no 11, Madina Town.
وہ مدینہ ٹاؤن مکان نمبر 11 میں رہتا ہے۔
2 – Place Preposition
Place preposition shows the relationship of place or space. In, On at, under, above, behind, between, beside, near over, into, upon, up etc..
The pictures are above the couch.
تصاویر صوفے کے اوپر ہیں۔
This book is beside the note book.
کتاب کاپی کے قریب ہے۔
This shop is near the super market.
یہ دوکان سپر مارکیٹ کے قریب ہے۔
3 – Direction/ Movement Preposition
Direction / Movement preposition shows the relationship of direction. to, onto, down, over, into, from, towards, etc.
Pour the water into the glass.
گلاس میں پانی ڈال دو۔
He put the book onto the table.
اس نے بک میز پر رکھ دی۔
I am going to the University.
میں یونیورسٹی جارہا ہوں۔
