Sentence
A different group of words which makes a complete sense or idea is called sentence. It start with a capital letter and end with a full stop.
کہلاتا ہے۔sentenceالفا ظ کا مجموعہ جو مل کر ایک ایسا جملہ بنائے جس کو سمجھا جا سکے
Example
Many children like animal stories.
They are afraid of their neighbours.
Ali lives in karachi.
Kinds of Sentences
Following are the types of sentences.
1 – Declarative Sentences:
This type of sentence makes a statement and ends with a full stop.
They are waiting for me.
2 – Interrogative Sentences:
This type of sentence asks a question and it ends with a question mark “?” .
Are they waiting for me?
3 – Imperative Sentences:
This type of sentence expresses a command or a request and ends with a full stop. It tells or asks someone to do something.
Call to Ali.
Please do not close the door.
4 – Exclamatory Sentences:
This type of sentence shows a strong feeling or excitement and it ends with a exclamation mark “!” .

Words are divided according to the purpose they are used for. The different kinds of words are called Parts of Speech.The parts of Speech are 8 in number.
